Specialist Echocardiography

Specialist cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography) services are provided from our clinic as a radiographer-led service, with all studies reviewed and reported by a cardiologist.

This service provides high-quality diagnostic cardiac imaging to support the assessment, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of cardiac conditions, including structural heart disease, valvular disorders, and heart failure.

All examinations are bulk billed, with no out-of-pocket costs to patients.

Appointments and enquiries are arranged through the service’s main rooms for consultations at McCrae Specialist Centre. Please advise at the time of booking that the appointment is to be scheduled at McCrae Specialist Centre.

Referrers are requested to send all referrals directly to the service’s main rooms via secure electronic referral systems (including HealthLink, ReferralNet or equivalent, email) or fax.
