McCrae Specialist Centre is a multidisciplinary medical facility hosting:

• Medical and surgical specialists

• Diagnostic services (including visiting diagnostic providers)

• Allied health professionals

• Visiting clinical and diagnostic services

All practitioners and services operate as independent providers and consult on a sessional basis from the centre.

Bookings, Referrals & Enquiries

To ensure efficient coordination of care:

• Patients and referrers must refer to each specialist, service, or provider profile for contact details

• All appointments, enquiries, amendments, and cancellations are arranged directly through the provider’s main consulting rooms or central booking office

• Referrals must be sent to the provider’s main rooms, not to McCrae Specialist Centre

• Secure electronic referral systems such as HealthLink, ReferralNet, or equivalent platforms should be used wherever possible

Please do not fax referrals to McCrae Specialist Centre or contact our rooms to request appointments.
McCrae Specialist Centre does not manage bookings, referrals, or clinical administration on behalf of providers.

Allied Health Appointments

No referral is required to see allied health providers when claiming through private health insurance.

If attending under a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP), patients must bring all relevant documentation to access Medicare rebates.

Some allied health providers may offer bulk billing under GPCCMP arrangements — patients are encouraged to confirm eligibility and billing arrangements at the time of booking.
