Dr Geoff Toogood is a cardiologist and specialist consulting aviation cardiologist with over 20 years of clinical practice on the Mornington Peninsula.

He has held the position of Director of Cardiology at Frankston Hospital and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand, and the Heart Rhythm Society.

Dr Toogood is highly trained and experienced in all aspects of cardiac device therapy and follow-up. He established the pacing services on the Mornington Peninsula, inserting the region’s first pacemakers, as well as ICD and CRT devices, and has operated the pacemaker clinic continuously since 1993.

He is also a Speaker and Ambassador for Beyond Blue, regularly presenting in the field of mental health, and is a passionate advocate for doctors’ mental health and wellbeing.
