Dr Arun is a highly reputed senior consultant cardiologist in the Peninsula region, who brings over 30 years of medical experience to his patients. He completed his postgraduate medical degree in India before undertaking further cardiology training in the UK (MRCP) and St Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne (FRACP). He was appointed Consultant Cardiologist in Frankston Hospital in 2000, before commencing his private practice.
Dr Arun brings in-depth clinical knowledge and excellent diagnostic skills, with significant experience in general medicine and cardiology. He deals with all types of cardiac problems, including the investigation and management of coronary artery disease, heart failure and cardiac rhythm problems. He specialises in managing heart failure patients and is a skilled implanter of CRT devices, defibrillators and pacemakers. He also provides and personally supervises stress ECG, stress echo, echo and holter monitor services.

Dr Arun is a consultant in General Cardiology, with a special interest in Heart Failure and Device Implantation for heart rhythm disorders and heart failure management.
Dr Arun undertook advanced training in Cardiology at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne and worked as a registrar in Cardiology at South Cleveland Hospital, Middlesbrough, UK and the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in Scotland before returning to Frankston to undertake his public appointment at Peninsula Health. Dr Arun established his private practice at Peninsula Private Hospital and is well regarded for his management and care of patients in the Frankston and surrounding communities.
Along with Dr Arun’s training and wide experience in device implantation in UK and Australia has acquired in-depth practical knowledge in this field. Being a high volume operator in device implants Dr Arun is aware of the difficulties and challenges in device implantation and follow up. A priority in device implantation is optimum patient selection and safe implantation technique to achieve maximum benefit for the patient and minimise complications. Dr Arun likes to share this knowledge with his colleagues and medical practitioners to raise awareness about the benefits of this treatment option to improve patient care.

Frankston Private Cardiology provides a diagnostic and treatment service for patients referred with actual, or suspected, heart disease. Dr Geoff Toogood is a Cardiologist & specialist consulting Aviation Cardiologist who has practiced for 20 years on the Mornington Peninsula. He has held The Director of Cardiology position at Frankston Hospital and is a Fellow of the College of Physicians, Cardiac Society and the prestigious Heart Rhythm Society. He is trained and skilled in all aspects of device therapy and follow up. He established the pacing services on the Mornington Peninsula inserting the first Pacemakers, this also applies to ICD and CRT devices. He has run the pacemaker clinic since 1993. He is a Speaker/Ambassador for Beyond Blue, speaking regularly in the area of mental health and is also a passionate advocate for Doctors Mental Health.

A/Prof Han is a friendly cardiologist specialising in heart rhythm disorders on the Peninsula. He brought AF ablation to the Peninsula Private Hospital in 2017, and aims to rid the region of AF. Despite his youthful looks, Han has practiced cardiac EP for >10 years, including 2 years at Barts Heart centre, London (UK) - Europe's largest cardiovascular centre.
Han is a senior EP consultant at the The Alfred, and clinical associate professor at the Dept of Medicine (Royal Melbourne Hospital), University of Melbourne. He is well-published and an expert on AF and heart failure. A/Prof Han has 2 young children and is excited about the future world their generation will create.
