Dr Sue Cockman

Educational and Developmental Psychologist

BA DPsychEd MEd MAPS FCEDP

 

Dr Sue Cockman is an experienced Educational and Developmental Psychologist, currently completing her masters in Clinical Psychology.

 

Sue is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and she has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults and senior adults in the following areas:

 

  • adjustment problems
  • work and family relationship problems
  • couples counselling
  • anxiety and panic
  • depression
  • learning difficulties
  • developmental problems in children and adults
  • addiction
  • sleep problems

Sue comes from an educational background and works closely with parents and schools when working with children. Sue is qualified to administer cognitive and academic achievement assessments.

Sue uses a combination of CBT, ACT, EFT and schema therapy in association with de arousal and mindfulness techniques.

Each patient is assessed and treated with individual consideration and a combination of therapeutic approaches are used, as appropriate, including but not restricted to cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, emotion focused therapy and psychodynamic therapy. Mrs Rose Farfalla is a qualified counsellor who has been practicing for over 13 years caring and supporting for individuals, couples, families, children, adolescents, adults and seniors who wish to improve areas of their life.  
 
She specialises in a range of areas including;

Mrs Rose Farfalla has a very friendly and understanding approach, she works with clients in developing strategies in order to support and improve current problems and challenges faced.
    
She has personally experienced Domestic Family Violence and Divorce in her earlier relationship, so is able to directly relate to issues you may be experiencing.  In 2016 Rose and her family desired a sea change and moved to the Mornington Peninsula.  She wishes to support locals by enabling them to live the life they truly desire, just like she has been able to.
