Dr Callum Traynor – Osteopath

Callum completed his studies at RMIT University - obtaining a double bachelor’s degree in Health Science and Applied Science (Osteopathy). He has worked for the past 5 years treating patients all over Melbourne’s north-west suburbs before deciding to make the sea change back to his hometown.

As the Principle Osteopath at The Seaside Osteo, Callum has a keen interest in treating back & neck pain, headaches and sporting injuries.

Having had his fair share of injuries over the years, he understands the frustration that injuries and their recovery can bring. This insight helps him to provide the highest quality treatment, education and management.

Callum offers a tailored treatment approach and believes strongly in the patient’s involvement in their own care and rehabilitation. Techniques and tools that Callum utilises include soft tissue massage, muscle stretching, joint manipulation, dry needling and exercise prescription.

This local Dromana boy’s passion for health and helping people started at a young age with sports such as basketball, football, swimming, surfing, scouts and surf lifesaving. For over 6 years whilst at university and afterwards, Callum became involved with sports training for men’s and women’s football, netball and basketball. Callum has also been a presenter with Sports Medicine Australia presenting their Sports Trainer courses.

Callum is registered for Private Health Rebates through HICAPS and processes Chronic Disease Management plans provided by a General Practitioner.

Callum’s currently operates every Monday between 8am - 6pm.
